We know what you’re thinking. There’s gotta be a catch, right? Well, there isn’t. We’ve just come up with a revolutionary way to pay for all things great, and we want to spread the word. To join the AMMO ranks, you’ll simply need to:
- Download the application to your phone by going to www.ammo.mobi on your phone browser OR if you have an iPhone, searching for AMMO in itunes under technical or finance apps.
- Activate your account and validate your number by following the instructions from the sms you’ll receive. If for some reason you don't receive this sms, please contact info@ammomobile.co.za or call 072 3801998 and one of our brilliant techies will assist.
- Enter your details and set a secret 5 digit pin (We won’t blame you for feeling like a secret agent at this point - you’re only human).
- Your AMMO application will now be stored under applications, downloads or games on your phone.
- For those of you with iPhones, AMMO works like a dream when you deactivate your 3G under 'settings'. And don't fear - this doesn't cut you off from the wonderful world of web surfing, but rather creates a secure internet connection which lands up making your phone faster.
LOCK AND LOAD YOUR AMMO ACCOUNT
…with your Credit or Cheque account cards:
- Go to Profile, select Add credit card and fill in your details. This is a once off registration, so don’t lose spirit.
- Go to Lock and Load and select the Credit Card method and type in your CVV number (for those not addicted to internet shopping, this refers to the 3 digit number at the back of your card). Unfortunately debit cards are not accepted.
- Then enter the amount you wish to transfer from your Credit Card account to your AMMO account, and voila! Your AMMO account will now reflect the richer balance.
…via EFT
- Go to Lock and Load on your phone’s application.
- Select EFT.
- Get to a computer and onto internet banking, and add the account details provided on your phone as a beneficiary.
- Like a normal EFT payment to a beneficiary, enter the amount to be transferred from your bank account to your AMMO account (it will take 1-2 days to reflect, depending on your subtle powers of persuasion and ability to do Jedi mind tricks).
